Our employees 

Health management

The topic of health management has been taken very seriously at LLOYD ever since 1997. Employees have access to ongoing offers, such as our cooperation with a gym on-site or a mobile massage service at the workplace. Or they can sign up for courses centred on nutrition or preventive measures concerning physchological and physical illnesses. Also included are examinations of certain areas of the body that are particularly stressed due to the job’s tasks. Contact persons for colleagues are also available in the Production and Administration departments, so-called ArGuS Eyes. They drive forward and support the topic of good working conditions. For instance, the set-up, development and positioning of ergonomically adjustable, standing and rotating workplaces. 


Occupational health and safety

The care services listed in the German statutory accident insurance (DGUV) under provision 2 serves as the foundation for occupational health and safety at LLOYD. The occupational safety council, consisting of two experts for occupational health and safety and seven safety officers, ensures that the legal requirements as well as the company’s own aims are met. They work closely together with the works council and the Management Board. The aim is to create a safe working environment for LLOYD employees in order to be able to eliminate workplace accidents and work-related illnesses before they ever occur.


Our engagement in society

LLOYD strives to continually develop responsible business practices. Especially in times of relentlessly rapid growth, LLOYD is convinced that sustainable business practices are essential for a long-term, successful strategy.

The company has provided the financial basis for the development and support of the LLOYD Kinderhilfe (Children’s Help). At the same time, this is not a traditional charity which simply accepts donations. Employees, who would like to take responsibility, actively volunteer their time.
