LLOYD as a company was founded back in 1888 in Bremen and has been headquartered in Sulingen, Germany, since 1942.

The company, unter the management of Andreas Schaller and Jörg Wetzel, generated consolidated company revenues in 2020 of 83 million euros, with the share of exports amounting to approx. 30 % into 48 countries.

The company has 13 subsidiaries and employs globally 1,501 members of staff (408 in Germany) and trains 28 young apprentices.

The company’s premium shoes are sold at roughly 2,800 sales points (1,900 in Germany, 900 worldwide), in 30 concept stores and 11 factory outlets.

The company has been distinguished with the TopJob 2015, HR Excellence Award 2014, Top Marke 2018 and Best Brands Award 2019.
